April 25, 2014, Press Release: Former Harnett Cty GOP Chairman Moody Endorses Frank for Congress

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and conservative Republican Frank Roche has received the endorsement of former Harnett County GOP Chairman, Mr. Danny Moody.  Moody served for a total of twelve years as county chairman, the longest record in the history of Harnett.  Moody led  the party to unprecedented success during the 2012 election cycle.

Danny stated, “Our current congresswoman has voted on at least three occasions to increase the nation’s debt limit which I believe places the very existence of the nation in jeopardy. Every taxpayer in Harnett knows you cannot spend your way out of debt. This in combination with her recent vote and support for the $1 billion dollar loan guarantee for Ukraine, while knowing full well that nation does not have the resources to repay such a debt has led me to wholeheartedly endorse Frank Roche for the next congressman for the 2nd district. Her recent lead position on pushing for amnesty for illegal immigrants and a doubling of legal immigration tells me she is more concerned with the bureaucrats in Washington than the tax papers in Harnett County.

“I am endorsing Frank Roche for U.S Congress in the 2nd District,” said Moody.

“I remain deeply about concerned America’s debt burden and more of the same in Congress when it comes to spending, taxes, and deficits.  I feel certain Frank’s knowledge and experience in economics and finance will make a difference in Washington, D.C. and help ensure economic strength and prosperity for the 2nd District in the future,” Danny concluded.

Frank was excited to hear the news and had this to say: “I can’t tell you how pleased I am to have the endorsement of such a prominent Republican from the 2nd District.  Danny’s work at the county and state level has been praised by all who have worked with him.  I’m honored to have his support, and I completely appreciate how difficult this decision may have been for him.”

“Like many across the district Danny has recognized the inconsistencies between Rep. Ellmers’ voting record, and her rhetoric on the campaign trail.  Thankfully he has done his homework on my candidacy and sees the true conservative credentials I bring to the race,” Frank said.

April 23, 2014, Press Release: Rep. Ellmers using UNC Profs to Maker her Case on Immigration

Cary, NC. - Frank Roche, Cary resident and conservative Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd District responds to another effort by Rep. Ellmers, in coordination with Democrat leaning groups, to make the case that foreign workers deserve greater praise than the good citizens of the 2nd District.

Frank said: “On April 15th, for the second time in less than two months, Rep. Ellmers aligned herself with liberal groups in an effort to defend her very public support for amnesty, doubling of legal immigration, mere talk of more secure borders, and no discussion at all of ending official federal government recognition of multiculturalism.  Like the first time back in February with ImmigrationWorks USA, this time she again staged a Renee as MC event; where she removes herself from any risk of being asked a question, and gets others to talk for her.  She held this event in the RTP where a good number of foreigners are taking jobs Americans would love to do.”

“Rep. Ellmers used a report by two UNC professors to once again ridicule the citizens of the 2nd District when it comes to our work habits, our age, and our commitment to family and community.  She asked two questions.  First, she asked, ‘Are they [read illegal immigrants] taking jobs from Americans?’  The answer, not from her, but from the UNC professors was a quick no, Americans are too old, ‘the work goes to younger people,’ said Prof Stephen Appold.”

Frank continued, “Second, she asked the professors ‘Is the migrant [read illegal immigrant] population underpaid?’  The answer, again was a quick no, with the Professors saying, ’Young native men [read American Caucasian and Black 2nd District citizens] would rather be a door greeter at Wal-Mart than take a construction job that pays $10-$15 an hour.”  Really, where is the data supporting that conclusion?”

“The report, which Rep. Ellmers is using in an attempt to convince the 2nd District that amnesty and more legal immigration is the right prescription for our economic challenges, concludes illegal immigrants cost the state $462 million per year.  It estimates there are over 300,000 illegal immigrants living in our state, and reveals the trend towards more immigration from India and China.  There is nothing positive for 2nd District in this report.  That fact that our elected Republican official is using it as defense of her position reveals how little she understands the negative consequences of amnesty and more legal immigration for citizenship, our economy, and the outlook for job and wealth creation among 2nd District citizens,” Frank concluded.

April 21, 2014, Press Release: Frank Roche Responds to GRNC’s Recomendations

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and conservative Republican Frank Roche has issued the following statement regarding the GRNC Candidate Recommendations.

“I’d like to apologize to GRNC President, Paul Valone, for not returning their Candidate Survey in time to be considered for the Candidate Recommendation list.  I’d like to extend the apology to the GRNC membership as well.”

Frank continued: “Though I did not meet the club’s deadline for filling out the Candidate Survey, Paul has kindly agreed to include my responses in the Candidate Evaluations on their website, www.grnc.org.  So, thankfully the voters of the 2nd District who follow GRNC will have all the information they need to evaluate the differences between myself and the incumbent.”

Frank is a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and gun rights.  As the 2nd District Representative, Frank will always and everywhere defend the Constitution and our right to bear arms.

GRNC Survey Scores: Frank Roche 100, Renee Ellmers 87.

April 14, 2014, Press Release: The Randolph Tea Party Endorses Frank Roche for U.S. Congress

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and conservative Republican Frank Roche has received the endorsement of the Randolph Tea Party, NC.

In a press release, the leadership of the tea party group said: “Beyond a doubt, Frank Roche is the most qualified Congressional candidate to represent North Carolina’s 2nd District. An expert in economics and trade policy, Frank has the experience and knowledge the 2nd District needs for true conservative representation. Strongly opposing amnesty or any other path for legalization of illegal immigrants, we believe Frank will best serve the expectations and desires of 2nd District citizens, putting them ahead of those here in violation of our immigration laws. Frank exemplifies the character, strength, and intelligence that is needed in DC and will use those qualities to stand for the people of Randolph County, NC02, and all citizens of NC.”

In response, Frank expressed his appreciation for the endorsement: “I want to thank the Randolph Tea Party for their endorsement and the kind words of support.  I am honored to have gained their confidence and I look forward to working hard over the next three weeks to ensure victory on May 6th.”

Frank concluded: “With strong grassroots support; we win.  Our campaign is obviously strengthened with support from organizations like the Randolph Tea Party.”

April 10, 2014, Press Release: Bob Levy, former Moore County Republican Chairman, Endorses Frank Roche for Congress

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and conservative Republican Frank Roche has received the endorsement of former Moore County GOP Chairman, Mr. Bob Levy.

Bob stated, “Based upon the position of Congress Member Ellmers endorsing amnesty for illegal immigrants, I am proud to endorse the candidacy of Frank Roche for Congress. The position of Frank Roche opposing amnesty and favoring secure borders will save the jobs and raise the salaries of middle class American citizen workers.”

“Middle class Americans need tough representatives like Frank Roche,” Bob said.

“I make this endorsement personally and not based upon my former or current office.  Neither does this reflect the position of my publisher or the television show on which I appear. But, I make this endorsement enthusiastically.”

Frank was very pleased with the endorsement and had this to say: “I am thankful to have the endorsement of the former Moore County GOP Chair Bob Levy.  Bob is an impressive man well versed in the political process and the failings our elected officials in Washington, D.C.”

“Like many other residents of the second district, Bob Levy recognizes our current incumbent Representative is a conservative in words only.  I want to thank Bob, and I will work hard to make him proud of his endorsement.”

March 20, 2014, Press Release: Ann Coulter Endorses Frank Roche for Congress

Cary, NC. – Frank Roche, Cary resident and conservative Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd District, has received the endorsement of the hugely popular conservative commentator Ann Coulter.

In two tweets on her Twitter page today, Ann wrote:

“Frank Roche for Congress!  Incumbent Rep. Ellmers joins Zuckerberg in trying to give Dems 30 million new voters.”

“Tribute to Zuckerberg’s honesty: Name of his group is a lie & his ad calling Rep. Ellmers ‘anti-amnesty’ is a lie.”

Frank had this to say upon hearing the news, “I’m honored to have gained the attention and the endorsement of such a prominent conservative.  Ann’s knowledge of the issues, her courage to always speak the truth, and her sharp wit, which I’ve seen demonstrated for many years, are traits I try to emulate as a candidate.”

“There is no doubt the power of Ann Coulter’s conservative voice on the right and across social media will give our campaign a big boost.  I thank Ann for supporting us in this grass roots challenge to unseat an entrenched incumbent,” Frank concluded.

March 19, 2014, Press Release: Rep. Ellmers Aligns Herself with Liberal Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg

Cary, NC - Frank Roche, Conservative Republican primary challenger to 2nd District Congresswomen Rep. Ellmers, is concerned that Rep. Ellmers has apparently aligned herself with Americans for a Conservative Direction (ACD), a subsidiary of FWD.us.   The liberal PAC (don’t be fooled by the name), is running ads in the 2nd District in support of Rep. Ellmers after her testy interview with Laura Ingraham on March 13th went viral over the topic of immigration and amnesty.  The ad ACD is running is deceptive as it labels Rep. Ellmers a conservative opposed to amnesty.

Frank said, “An elected Republican who labels herself a conservative yet is willing to align herself with Mark Zuckerberg and Fwd.us, known to support amnesty for illegal immigrants, is a disqualifying judgment.”

“The citizens of North Carolina deserve to know the truth from Rep. Ellmers.  In an editorial in the Fayetteville Observer on January 18, 2014 she stated clearly her support for amnesty, more immigration, more of the same.  On The Laura Ingraham Show she said she supported amnesty.  Now, in a PAC ad she is opposed to amnesty.  Which is it?

Frank went on, “Call it ‘a pathway to citizenship,’ call it ‘earned legal status,’ call it ‘a blue card,’ it doesn’t matter.  The good folks of the 2nd District know it means amnesty because it is amnesty.  Amnesty is more than what it implies.  More than forgiveness, amnesty is a reward for breaking the law with a gift of citizenship.  We cannot have it; citizenship matters, the economic and employment challenges of 2nd District citizens come first.

The ad by ACD, a 501(c)(4), appears like a political ad to promote Rep. Ellmers campaign.  Additionally, the timing of the release coincides with an effort by Rep. Ellmers and her team, after the viral interview last week, to flood Laura Ingraham and her producer with expressions of support for Renee’s advocacy of amnesty and greatly increased levels of legal immigration.  One couldn’t be faulted for considering some communication might have taken place between ACD and the Ellmers campaign.

501(c)(4) organizations are required to be operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare, and are not allowed to coordinate with any individual campaign.

FWD.us is a grassroots immigration organization advocating for amnesty and more legal immigration funded in part by Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook.  Joe Green is the President of FWD.us,.  Mr. Green was most notably Mark’s college roommate and worked on John Kerry’s 2004 Presidential Campaign.

Frank conclude with a simple questions, “Is this not a conflict of interest for Rep. Ellmers and an affront to the voters who expected conservative leadership?

March 18, 2014, Press Release: Rep. Ellmers Using the Language and Tactics of a Democrat

Cary, NC. – Frank Roche, Conservative Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd District, commented on the interview Rep. Ellmers did with Laura Ingraham, the nationally syndicated talk show host, on March 13, 2014.

Frank noted, “During her testy interview on The Laura Ingraham Show discussing the issue of immigration, Rep. Ellmers repeatedly used the language of a Democrat rather than the language of a conservative Republican: ‘de facto amnesty,’ ‘living in the shadows,’ ‘broken immigration system.’  Rep. Ellmers also used a tactic Democrats use when they are unable to argue their position; name calling.  Instead of debating Laura Ingraham, Rep. Ellmers described  Laura as ‘ignorant’ and ‘small minded.’  The 2nd District deserves better representation.”

Frank was a guest on The Laura Ingraham Show on March 14, 2014 and made it clear that he opposes amnesty, is focused on the employment challenges confronting 2nd District citizens, wants Republicans in Washington, D.C. to enforce current immigration laws, and offered a solution for those businesses and industry that have become dependent on immigrant labor.

Frank continued, “After the interview went viral Rep. Ellmers enlisted the support of some of the most prominent Democrat open borders immigration and pro-amnesty advocates, led by Tamar Jacoby at ImmigrationWorksUSA, to bombard Laura and her producer with aggressive tweets in support of her position.  And, let us not forget, President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and the liberal billionaire founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, also support Rep. Ellmers in her push for amnesty and more legal immigration.”

Frank concluded, “We don’t have to ignore the rule of law and complicate the job outlook for all American citizens in order to provide for the immigrant labor needs of industry and business in the 2nd District.  We can do both, and secure our borders.  It starts with no amnesty and sharply lower levels of legal immigration.”

March 5, 2014, Press Release: Conservative Party Endorses Frank Roche for U.S. House, NC2

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and conservative Republican Frank Roche has received the endorsement of the Conservative Party.

H. Michael Hervey, Chairman, Conservative Party said, “We are very proud to endorse a dynamic conservative like Mr. Roche.  He represents the constitutional and fiscal values the good people of North Carolina will appreciate and America needs. Frank represents the new breed of true conservative Republicans who actually mean what they say and say what they mean.”

Frank was very pleased with the endorsement and had this to say, “I am thankful to have the endorsement of the Conservative Party.  Their efforts to uphold conservative principles and encourage Republicans to live up to them while in office are an important element in restoring responsible government in D.C.”

Frank went on, “Harold Hervey and the Conservative Party recognize our current incumbent Representative in North Carolina’s 2nd district is a conservative in words only.  I want to thank Harold, and I will work hard to make the Conservative Party proud of their endorsement.”

Cary, NC. – Frank Roche, Conservative Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina’s 2nd District, issued the following statement:

“The filing period ended the way we wanted it to; with a one-on-one race between me and Rep. Ellmers.  It was a necessary condition for victory.  Now we can offer primary voters of the 2nd district a clear choice.  A choice between a Conservative with the required knowledge and experience, or a go along to get along incumbent Representative advocating for amnesty for illegal immigrants and a doubling of legal immigration, with a record of supporting more deficits and debt, and who is seldom seen in the district at meetings or events.”

Feb 22, 2014, Press Release: Rep. Ellmers Doubles Down on Immigration Reform

Cary, NC. - Frank Roche, conservative primary challenger to 2nd district Congresswoman Renee Ellmers, stated his belief that her pro-amnesty position, which she reaffirmed Wednesday at the ImmigrationWorksUSA forum in Cary, is the wrong type of immigration reform.

Frank said, “Rep. Ellmers voluntarily doubled down on her immigration position indicating if there is one issue she would like to solve, it is immigration.  Solving the problem for Rep. Ellmers means more of the same problems of the past 30 years; more amnesty, more legal immigration, more unsecured borders, more multiculturalism.  It is clear unemployed and economically challenged citizens are not excited about her position.”

Frank went on, “The proper prescription for America’s failing immigration policy is: end family reunification as the basis for our policy and replace it with an economic model based on the labor needs of industry and business; reduce legal immigration to 500,000 per year; finally and properly secure our borders which would include strengthening our short-term visa program and enforcement to keep over-stayers from illegally remaining in the U.S.; end all talk of amnesty or any other semantic form of amnesty and instead emphasize the importance of citizenship; and move away from multiculturalism, identity politics, and political correctness to aid in bringing about higher levels of assimilation and national unity.”

Frank concluded, “When it comes to immigration reform and what is best for American citizens and our future strength and prosperity, Rep. Ellmers is wrong.  Her prescription has nothing to do with conservatism.”

February 13, 2014, Press Release: Rep. Ellmers Inconsistent on Spending and Debt

Cary, NC. – Frank Roche, Conservative Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd District, notes the voting inconsistency of Rep. Ellmers on spending and debt.

Frank stated, “Rep. Ellmers voted NO on S.540; the clean debt ceiling increase through March 2015. This is in direct conflict with her January YES vote for the $1.1 trillion Omnibus spending bill which resulted in a $600 billion deficit. All those who voted YES for that spending bill had to have known – should have known – passage of that bill would require more debt, and therefore a higher legal debt ceiling when the time came. This type of voting inconsistency reveals a lack of true conservative leadership, a lack of seriousness, and a focus on political calculus for re-election rather than what is best for the citizens of the 2nd district.”

Frank continued, “Add to that her Yes vote for the $956 billion Farm Bill, also intellectually inconsistent with her vote on the debt ceiling, and the political posturing Rep. Ellmers is engaged in for re-election becomes more evident.  Her record on deficit spending and debt is abysmal, and has nothing to do with the conservative principles of limited and responsible government.”

Frank concluded, “When will it be enough debt?  At $18 trillion, we’re there.”

On January 16, 2014 Frank said: “This bill (Omnibus spending bill) will require at least another $1.2 trillion increase in our nation’s debt ceiling in 2014.  In two years we will tack on more debt than America accumulated in the 42 years between 1945 and 1987.  The annual increase in our national debt has grown by over a trillion dollars per year since 2008.”   “All those who voted for this bill will now be compelled to increase our debt ceiling again, and put an even greater burden on future generations of Americans to pay for the abject failure of our elected officials to manage their fiscal responsibilities today.”

Frank is dedicated to eliminating annual federal budget deficits and reducing debt.

February 5, 2014, Press Release: Frank Roche Welcomes Clay Aiken to 2nd District Run

Cary, NC. – Frank Roche, Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd District, welcomes Clay Aiken to the political playing field.

Frank said, “I’d like to welcome Clay to politics.  His decision to run in the 2nd district has brought national attention to my campaign to replace Rep. Ellmers as our Republican Representative.  I thank Clay for that.”

Frank went on to say, “I understand Clay is a serious man, dedicated to issues that are important to him, and he has already had the national stage to share some of his thoughts on those issues.  It is clear Democrats recognize what my campaign does; that is, Rep. Ellmers is vulnerable as a result of her voting record, and her quick move to embrace the establishment in Washington, D.C. rather than remain true to the conservative rhetoric she offers 2nd district voters on the campaign trail.”

Frank concluded, “I watched Clay’s season of American Idol, and was rooting for him in his showdown with Ruben.  He has a great chance to win the primary because he has two things any first time candidate would covet; great name recognition, and an apparent ability to raise a good deal of money, and he could do it with just a few concert events alone.  It will be an interesting Democrat primary to watch.”

Jan 30, 2014: Press Release ALIPAC Endorses Frank Roche for Congress

Cary, NC. - Cary resident and Conservative Republican Frank Roche has received the endorsement of America’s “largest Political Action Committee on the issues related to illegal immigration.”

William Gheen, President of ALIPAC said, “Frank will support America’s existing borders and immigration laws instead of destroying them as Renee Ellmers would do.”

Frank was very pleased with the endorsement and had this to say;

“I am thankful to have the endorsement of ALIPAC on this important issue of immigration reform and what is best for American citizens.  The central issues here are citizenship and the rule of law.  Apparently, Rep Ellmers is willing to sidestep the law as established by Congress, more disturbingly she is willing to further water down the importance of citizenship and the critical role it plays in bonding our nation together as one.”

Frank went on, “I will oppose all efforts at amnesty, the doubling of legal immigration, and more talk of securing our borders.”  If I were in Congress today I would be arguing for immigration reform that puts Americans citizens first.  I would be arguing for lower levels of legal immigration dedicated to the needs of American industry and business, real action to secure our borders including our legal points of entry, and deliberately rejecting the social counterparts of our immigration policy; multiculturalism, identity politics, and political correctness.

Cary NC, Jan 29, 2014: Rep. Ellmers goes all in on Amnesty in the Fayetteville Observer

North Carolina’s 2nd District Congressional Representative has made it clear she supports comprehensive immigration reform legislation being debated in the House of Representatives.  Aligning herself with the Republican establishment led by John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and Kevin McCarthy, Rep Ellmers states her support for amnesty for illegal immigrants, a doubling of legal immigration, and more talk of securing our borders.

Wrapped in the standard language utilized by compromised Republicans on the issue of immigration, she attempted at once to reassure the monied interests behind her campaign financing that she will do what they require to maintain their cheap source of immigrant labor, and mollify the concerns of 2nd District citizens who clearly oppose her on this critical issue by using semantic tricks to disguise the true impacts of the legislation.

She ignores the contributions of American citizens for the success of America and instead gives the credit to immigrants.  She sympathizes with illegal immigrants and their plight painting a picture of millions of benevolent people only wanting to feed and house their family.  She has made clear she has talked with all interested parties in business and community leadership roles, though did not include 2nd District opponents to her position which also includes businesses and community leaders.

She concludes, based on her “careful reflection,” “Our law fails to account for each according to his or her circumstances and disregards how one individual could provide skills and expertise compared to another.”  Ask the tens of millions of American citizens  out of work, or underemployed, or working in sectors with wages capped by mass low skilled immigration, if we should be concerned about the circumstances of foreign nationals who are in our country illegally.

If Rep. Ellmers truly cared for our fellow citizens stuck in poverty, the unemployed, the underemployed, wage growth, income gaps, or the cohesion of our community, she would oppose this nation wrecking legislation.   Are we not a nation of laws?

American’s must remove from office all members of Congress who support comprehensive immigration reform, and replace them with Representatives who care about the plight of Americans, the strength our economy, the job outlook, and the long-term unemployed.  We must reject amnesty, reduce legal immigration per year with a focus on the needs of business and industry, and push aside the social counterparts of multiculturalism, identity politics, and political correctness.

January 16, 2014: Press Release on $1.1 trillion budget deal

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and Conservative Republican Frank Roche has issued the following statement:

“The majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, including North Carolina’s 2nd District Representative, Renee Ellmers, passed another irresponsible budget yesterday.  The $1.1 trillion bill, 1,582 pages long, is more of the same: more deficits, and more debt. “

“This bill will require at least another $1.2 trillion increase in our nation’s debt ceiling in 2014.  In two years we will tack on more debt than America accumulated in the 42 years between 1945 and 1987.  The annual increase in our national debt has grown by over a trillion dollars per year since 2008.”

“All those who voted for this bill will now be compelled to increase out debt ceiling again, and put even a greater burden on future generations of Americans to pay for the abject failure of our elected officials to manage their fiscal responsibilities today.”

“Representative Ellmers from the 2nd district made another error in judgment when it comes to voting in Congress.”

Frank goes on to ask, “I wonder, did the 2nd district Representative read the 1,582 page bill?  I’m guessing no.”  “Was there anything in the bill she didn’t like?”

Frank went on to say, “I would have voted against this bill.  The only way America can avoid falling deeper into debt is to produce a budget where revenues exceed expenditures resulting in a budget surplus and the end of annual deficits.”  Frank emphasizes, “Spending must be reduced.”

Frank concludes, “When will it be too much debt?  “I say, at $18 trillion, America is there now.”

Dec 13, 2013: Press Release on the U.S. House vote for more Spending, H.J. Res 59

Cary, N.C.:   2nd District Republican candidate Frank Roche issued the following statement this morning concerning Thursday’s vote in the U.S House of Representatives in support of the Continuing Appropriations Resolutions for 2014:

“Once again the U.S. taxpayer will be required to pay more, and the future strength and prosperity of the U.S. economy will be further compromised.”

“This Continuing Resolution is more of the same and fits a pattern established decades ago of upfront spending and tax increases with the promise of deficit reduction in years to come; a promise that is never kept.  In this case the promise is a $23 billion reduction in the deficit over ten years. “

“H.J. Res 59 raises spending, increases taxes; what the leadership and their supporters call fees, allows for ongoing yearly deficits in the hundreds of billions of dollars therefore doing nothing to reduce federal debt, and ensures that the debt ceiling will have to be increased at the next politically established deadline in mid 2014.”

“All those who voted Yes for this resolution will now be compelled to vote Yes in allowing for another debt ceiling increase.  It will culminate in one of the most rapid periods of accumulation of federal debt in American history; more than $1 trillion in less than one year. “

“Unfortunately for the citizens of North Carolina’s 2nd District, Rep. Ellmers once again voted for more spending, more taxes, and more debt.”

“I will oppose all legislation that increases our debt any further and continues to put at risk the national security of this great nation.”

North Carolina’s U.S. House delegation was split.  In support were: Ellmers, Butterfield, Coble, Foxx, Hudson, McHenry, Pittenger, and Price.  In opposition were: Holding, Jones, McIntyre, Meadows, and Watt

Dec 9, 2013: Press Release on 2nd District Run

Cary, NC. – Cary resident and Conservative Republican Frank Roche has issued the following statement:

“After careful deliberations and consultation with friends , colleagues, and supporters, I have decided to challenge second term Republican Representative Ellmers for North Carolina’s second district congressional seat. “

“The key elements motivating my decision to take on this difficult challenge are Representative Ellmers support for the comprehensive immigration reform legislation making its way through Congress; her moderate go-along-to-get-along voting record in her first three years of office; an already poor record of constituent services; a relentless focus on fundraising since elected in 2010; and a lack of focus on the critically important issues impacting America’s future strength and prosperity. “

“America must change course soon!  Politics as usual can no longer suffice.  We have no more time to waste, no more time to hope my opponent will govern as the conservative presented on the campaign trail.  My academic and professional background makes me uniquely qualified to identify and correct the policy mistakes made by both Republicans and Democrats over the past three years; and the 40 years before that.”

“I look forward to hitting the campaign trail, reconnecting with prior supporters, and meeting many more Republican and Independent voters from Asheboro to Dunn, from Cary to Raeford.”

“My team is ready to work hard for victory in May 2014, and to begin the task of restoring American strength and prosperity.”

Frank will make a statement on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11:30AM at the Bond Park Boat House, 801 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27513.  We look forward to seeing you there.
